Coleraine ’22 harnesses the energy and complexity of Te Mata cabernet sauvignon, on show at its highest level since the first Coleraine in 1982.

The beautiful floral aromas of lavender, violet, plum and blackcurrant, are all in orbit around the wine’s dark savoury core of tightly wound graphite, nori, coffee grounds, vanilla and tobacco. The palate is intensely concentrated, with a superbright tension building freshness and precision as layer upon layer of fine polished tannins give pinpoint detail alongside signature, exacting, levels of finesse.

Displaying Bullnose’s classic vibrant, purple-edged magenta colour. This has perfume, plush berry fruit and underlying power. That signature Bullnose ‘nose’ displays dianthus and freesia aromas with fresh raspberry, black cherry, and cola throughout. The front palate’s rich and soft entry is loaded with those same ripe, concentrated fruit notes with superfine tannins and a refreshing fine finish. Bullnose Syrah ’22 delivers classical elements alongside a modern level of detail, power, refinement, and restraint.

Glowing a brilliant lemon-gold in the glass, Elston Chardonnay ’22 overflows with ripe citrus, fresh brioche, and grilled hazelnuts. On the palate an impressive intensity of ripe nectarine and grilled lemon builds upon soft creamy nougat notes, adding a vibrant acidity, balance and focus.
