Zara Viognier '16

Since 1995, Te Mata Estate has led the way with New Zealand’s production of Viognier, a rare white grape from France’s Rhône Valley. Fermented in barrel, it displays the floral, white peach and honey characters found in the finest examples of this entrancing variety.

Sun-ripened apricots and mandarin oil. Scented lilies and marzipan. Voluptuous and floral as an idyllic summer at the beach. Zara ’16 is luminous gold, with an intensely rich palate, superb concentration, and seamless integration of stone fruit, nougat, honeysuckle and jasmine. Succulent nectarine, silky hazelnut and subtle baking spice notes all lead to a fine, long sea salt-tinged finish.

Wine Storage Suggestions & the 2017 Te Mata Cellaring Guide
