The premiere release of Estate Vineyards Pinot Noir ’18 is ink-dark scarlet, with flashes of cherry-red, and an immediate floral presence of fresh boysenberry, redcurrants, cardamom, and Earl Grey tea. A silky, soft palate interwoven with generous, ripe, red berry fruit balances a beguiling background of smoke, cinnamon and gentle tannin. Energetic, full-flavoured and expressive, Estate Vineyards Pinot Noir ’18 appeals and delights.

ORIGIN
Sourced exclusively from Te Mata Estate's own vineyards, the estate vineyard wines represent the best qualities of their variety, vintage, and Hawke's Bay origin.

Estate Vineyards Pinot Noir '18 - 'An ultra-fresh pinot noir that pushes fruit and spice out to the edges of the mouth, youthful yet intensely savoury cherry and hedgerow fruit focus, it’s a lovely thing to drink and demonstrates great potential for Hawke’s Bay pinot noir. The tannins have great cling and chew and it has excellent length of flavour.' ★★★★
